Compounds seem completely broken when using text. Even when text is converted to curves, letters like B or S break the compound completely. Moving the text results in different weird results. -
Now almost 6 weeks, one beta and one "stable" release later this essential, fundamental function is still crap. If one of the participants is a compound path from artistict text converted to curves the results are still unpredictable. Neiter direct boolean subtract nor montage works. In the meantime, needless to say, everything has worked flawlessly under v1 before... You shall measure them by their words: "...and Iām sure you will be pleased with the updates V2 will receive." @Ash Unfortunately after 6 weeks and days spent on bug recreation, reporting, beta testing and discussing i am not pleased š Will you pay us customers for that work ? -
I already posted this with the "normal" boolean operations. But the error also applies to a montage group v2-vector-montage-boolean-compound-pathes-fail.afdesign I have the same path objects for the "VIP". The rectangle is set to subtract and the letter "P" disapears. Additionally i did some basic shapes. I built the "donut" before by hand. Subtractiong two simple circles. The "VIP" instead is artistic text -> vectors (In Kurven umwandeln). The other boolean modes also produce some weird results for the "P". The handmade donut behaves as expected.
