  1. In Affinity Designer v1 (Mac desktop) When using cmd + ] or cmd + [ to move a layer/s in the layers panel the selected layer/s always stayed in view (because the layers bar scrolled with the keystrokes). For this to work not only had ‘Auto scroll to show selected layers in layers panel’ to be enabled (in the ‘User Interface’ preferences) but also ‘Auto scroll’ had to be enabled in the layers panel ‘hamburger’ menu. In Affinity Designer v2 (the same Mac desktop) The ‘Auto scroll to show selected layers in layers panel’ in the ‘User Interface’ preferences has been removed. Consequently when trying to move layers using cmd + ] or cmd + [ the layer/s disappear/s out of view when the bottom end of the (on screen) layers panel is reached (because the layers bar does now not scroll with the keystrokes). Hey, I like seeing the layer/s I am moving in the layers panel without having to manually scroll to find them after I’ve moved them. This feature was very useful in enabling accurate movement of layers within the layers panel whilst looking at the artwork (rather than looking at the layers panel) while using cmd + ] or cmd + [ . The layer click + drag method (which does keep the chosen/highlighted layer in view) has its uses but is much more difficult/awkward/inaccurate/frustrating to use. Any vital reason for the ‘Auto scroll to show selected layers in layers panel’ in the ‘User Interface’ preferences being removed? Am I missing something? Is that preference somewhere else? It makes no sense to remove something so useful. If not please put the !%%&*! thing back in! Btw enjoying v2 and its new additions apart from the above bizarre subtraction.
  2. Does anyone know where the setting for toggling auto-scroll to show selection in layers panel is in V2 of designer. It used to be in preferences > user interface, but I can't find it there. I looked through all the other settings and couldn't find it either.
