  1. Hey Affinity team, this continues to be one of my recurring pains with the entire suite, and as someone who loves navigating menus and input fields with the keyboard it drives me crazy. I've raised the issue some years before, but I can't seem to find it again here on the forum. The (mis-)behaviour is incredibly annoying if you are used to working with keyboard shortcuts – every other software has a logical sequence for jumping/changing the active field with tabs. As far as the whole Affinity suite is concerned, I only recognise fragmentary connections that do not correspond to any logic, and this is independent of the desktop operating system (Mac/Win). Sometimes the cursor jumps to the next field, sometimes nothing happens, sometimes you get a hint or error tone. The key combination Shift + Tab, which normally jumps to the previous field, does not work either. Therefore: Please, it would be great if you could clean up the logic in the suite – even if it costs a lot of time, talking about creating tab-enabled forms in Acrobat. 😪. In addition, tabbed navigation also allows for better accessibility. I would love to see and improvement on this matter in a future update! 🙂 Cheers Dennis
  2. MacBook Pro M1 on Ventura 13.0.1 with Designer 2.0.0 form Apple Store. Hardware Acceleration is ON. What happens: When I export a file (or artboard) the save dialogue is covered by the Character panel and the Character panel stays active. I can move it around and click it while everything else is properly disabled. This does NOT happen with Save or Save As.. dialogues just the Export... one. I was able to recreate this on new files, and after resetting the app multiple times.
  3. I was ready to pay for the upgrade just to get this bug fixed but apparently they just don't think it's that big of a deal. It's a hard pass for me.
  4. Hello, this is rather a minor issue, but can interfere a design workflow. Since there is no horizontal Panel stacking in Studio, I have arranged my Panels outside as "floating" Panels. I see that Panels which are floating come in front of the ones that are stacked in Studio. Which is logical, but I guess, when another Panel pops-up, in my case Fill Panel from Text Frame Panel, would be great if it would come in front of any of floating Panels. Hope this is possible. I know there are workarouds, but that is not the case. Kind regards, Roman
  5. Drop-down menus spawn behind panels, obscuring parts of the menu until you move the panel. Not a new bug, there's dozens of pages on this on the v1 forum, but just on the off chance it slipped someone's mind, here's the thing again. For me it's a deal breaker, I need to be able to place my panels freely. I'll just stay with v1 until it's changed or a better alternative comes along.
  6. Affinity Designer V2.0.0 macOS Monterey Version 12.6.1 (Apple M1 Mac Studio) Move floating window menu to the desktop right top corner. Open Appearance menu and tap a symbol (e.g. fill color) to open the dialogue box. Dialogue box is hidden behind a floating window. Floating menus-1.mov
  7. Long standing failure of Save As or Save dialog to seize focus. This often obscures needed parts of the dialog. This also occurs in Publisher and Photo.
  8. I often have to use Affinity Designer on a 13" screen notebook and owing to the limited available real estate, like to keep some palettes/panels on the left hand bottom side (ADScreenShot1.jpg). Whenever I use the font selection menu, however, the font list goes 'under' this palette (ADScreenShot2.jpg) whereas in all other design apps I've used, it always goes over any such panel. IMHO this is a usability issue and would urge the developers to look into it. Thank you very much.
  9. Hi. Pages miniatures are too big and IMO are hard to manage. Just to mention that when displaying fonts in some situations the last ones in the list are not accessible.
  10. Hi, is it technically possible to let the value-lists of the comboboxes of the tool bar hover over the floating windows, to be able to use the list? To choose between all values? This would allow to continuously work. No need to "Esc" the combobox, move the floating window away and start over. Cheers, Stefan. AD_Improvement_ToolComboBoxOnTop.mov
