  1. Whilst using Designer 2, I have been using the perspective tool, however when I try to print the shape produced, the perspective is lost and normal shape is printed, why?
  2. I have done a simple template for a frustum tumbler using the Warp Arc - Horizontal tool. It is showing correctly in the canvas view, but when I print the document it prints just a rectangle without warping.
  3. I created a file which had a small amount of text to which I applied a warp. Everything looked fine on the screen but when I came to print the file, the text was printed without the warp being applied. In the end I had to export the file as a pdf and print it, which worked perfectly. The file is attached. Using very latest build Windows 11 2023.afdesign
  4. Very simple warp of rectangle in Designer 1714 does not warp in print to PDF .... but does work in export to PDF ( and in my case, the reason for investigating it, does not warp when printed to my HP laserjet ) Suspicion there is something not quite right with the calls to printer driver Workaround is to convert to curves - I had thought this was only in complex cases - but this is a simple 'shape' Windows 11 Home 22H2 64bit Files and examples in discussion topic 182881 confirmed by another user
  5. I designed a card with a background image and text which I warped horizontally. If I print it, the "warped" text only prints what seems to be in the bounding box - cuts the txt off the top. Photo show screenshot of what is "supposed" to print and then a photo taken of the actual print.
  6. If you warp text in Ver 2 and then try to print the text prints out without the warp effect. It is the same with shapes & curves. The Warp Group has to be converted to curves in order to print warped. Exporting it works ok.
