Hi I am currently evaluating AD for purchase as a vector based drawing tool. Is there a way to get a larger tool icon and font size in Affinity Designer? I already have the "large" font in the prefernce pane on UI, which isnt very large. This font is barely acceptable. The icons as well for all the tools are a tad too small. I use two 4k Dell monitors in their native resolution on a Mac Book Pro. The UI is just too small to be really workable. For a graphics based product, I think a little scaling of the UI should not be too challenging and thus am struggling to believe there is not already some way to alter this ... ? 4K and even now 5K monitors are becoming common place. Thanks and regards,

Hi I'm trying to export my 4k document (3840x2160) to a PDF and then convert it to Illustrator and After Effects. However when I export it the output is resized to 1080 for some reason. If I export it to PNG it exports fime to the proper dimensions. Can you please help me? I've tried using max res settings as well as not rasterizing anything. I can resize the vectors accordingly so it's ok, its just an extra step that I'd like to avoid. Best, Michael

All, I am building a new Windows 10 pc for photo editing and shoot mostly in raw and am trying to work out the following for affinity photo. 1. Is there any advantage in using INTEL cpu over AMD? 2. Is there any benefit going from SSD do m.2 SSD and the speed that can be obtained through them? 3. Do any particular graphics cards offer benefits over other types IE Quadro vs GTX? 4. I am looking at getting a 27 inch monitor (maybe 32) is there any real world benefit for going to (IPS) 4k over WQHD? Any thoughts please? Thank you Al

Hi all, Does the current version of Affinity Photo support "4K Photos" as delivered by Panasonic Cameras (in this case the DMC-G7) ? These are pictures recorded as 4K video in various variations (series, pre-burst...), and essentially what I need in a photo software is the ability to select single frames from these videos, review them frame-by-frame, and create individual still pictures from them. I'm aware that there is other software that can do that, but it is essential for me that functionality like this is integrated in the general workflow. Thanks, Mirko
