Nice job on Affinity 2.0. I already purchased all apps. FEATURE REQUEST: It would be nice to see a type of VECTOR ERASER in Affinity Designer 2 that would allow us to quickly erase INTERSECTING LINES. This can dramatically increase productivity with illustrations. See attached video. Thanks!!! I am enjoying 2.0 !!! vector eraser demo.mp4

This is only reproducable with a certain document. In new documents it works as it should be. In my non working document the text came from a PDF and I applied on all text the same formatting. 🤷♂️ shrinking-text.mp4

I am new to Affinity, only discovering it recently, and I'm currently only running a trial to see if I can use this to replace my Adobe Subscription. I stumbled across a youtube video that says the Version 2.0, when released, would be a re-purchase in order to get the update. I wanted to know what version Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer are currently on, and if they have a release date for the 2.0 version? I want to plan out the best time to purchase these apps. If the 2.0 release is years away I plan to purchase it now, but if it is only months away I want to wait.

I guess the subject says it all. Right now if we get an upgrade it's free because it still hasn't reached 2.0. What happens if we purchase the programs in Windows 10 Store and the update from 1.x to 2.x goes live? Just a question. Because I'm thinking of rebuying the software on Windows 10 Store (for automatic updates).

Hey, all! So I'm just wondering if it's ever been mentioned when Affinity Photo/Designer 2.0 is due out. I'm asking because I know that if I buy the current version (1.6 at the time of writing this) I will need to re-purchase 2.0, being that when you buy the software it is only supported through its current version (1.X). So I'm concerned that I'll end up having to pay again in just a few months... which if that's the case I'd rather just wait. Thanks! Dave
