I know, I am the master of strange questions, I am not sure if this is a bug or an idea for improvement. 1. Make a short text in a text frame and reduce the frame so that we have an overflow. 2. Set the Preflight Trigger to Export. 3. Try to print. Result: You get a Preflight warnings message. Is okay with me with since the mouseover hint is saying "Run preflight checks just before Print and Export". 4. Set the Preflight Trigger to Live. 5. Try to print. Result: You still get a Preflight warnings message. This is not okay with me, because the mouseover hint is saying "Run preflight checks continuously in the background and on Export". So perhaps only the mouseover hint is wrong. Personally I would favour a solution where we could differentiate if a Preflight Preset is for Export or Print. Happens to me on a regular basis that I forget how to correctly put the printed paper in which tray in which printer and we have a quite a few printers and trays. I am thinking of using the Preflight comments for this case. BTW on rightclick it is called "Preflight Comment" and in editing the Preflight profiles it is called "User comment".

Is it my machine? See specs in my signature. Am I doing something wrong? Even simple documents never get a size calculated or never get a preview. If I try to export anyway, I get the message that the export failed.
