  1. 1. Make a document with linked files preferred. 2. Place a PDF (or anything else). 3. Make this PDF embedded in Resource Manager. 4. Edit document (embedded PDF) and make some changes to it. 5. Close Edit document window. 6. Now take no other action than "Undo". Should be now undoing embedding the file. 7. Visit again Resource Manager, file is linked again, but now the placed file still looks like the changed one and is not reverted to the "look" of the linked file. 8. Save this file and the preview icon of the .afpub shows the changed file / look / layout. Closing and opening the document again, shows the correct linked file. This just means, that undoing embedding is not instantly redrawing the "appearance". So no bug at all, just a minor flaw. Just FYI.
  2. The table I wanted to place has 19 columns and 21 rows partially filled with content. Placement of the file takes some time and the size of the table has now 103 mm height x 30817 mm width. Original file was a .ods saved as .xlsx with LibreOffice Calc. If the file is needed for examination I need a private upload link.
  3. Bug? Natural limitation? By design? Worth a feature request? I made some graphical elements and turned them into a text frame. In every text frame I put the number 2 in Arial 7pt, vertically and horizontally centered. And there are "big" differences concerning height and width of the text frames before I get an overflow. Worst limitation has the circle, everything below 4,6 mm results in an overflow. How do I get past this limitation WITHOUT having two separate elements or converting the text to curves? In Indesign the widht / height limitation is at about 2,6 mm. I know 4,6 mm is not much, but you can do this the other way round, making circle and font bigger, but it is (for me) impossible to nearly fill the circle with a number. There are always big margins. Attached a file for playing. textframes.afpub
  4. Sorry, I am having not the right translation for this behaviour. Perhaps it is by design?!? 1. Draw a rectangle. 2. Change the fill colour. 3. Undo step 2 and keep the element selected (do not unselect). 4. Go to Menu -> Edit -> Preferences -> Keyboard Shortcuts. 5. Select in Publisher "Edit" and scroll down to Redo ... Result: The shortcut name is now called "Redo Set fill". You can do this also with other actions. The shortcut name has always the name of the last action. This is not breaking any workflows, just a funny observation. Same behaviour in the latest beta.
