Well, they don't disappear really, but they are invisible. Step 1: Turn off Preview Mode Step 2: Create two empty picture frames Step 3: Select the two picture frames Step 4: Combine or add them Step 5: Deselect / click on free space Result: After the short fade effect the combined / added picture frames disappear. You can only make them visible by selecting them somehow again or click in the Layer panel on the layer. I would expect them to be still visible, when not in Preview Mode.

See attached image. The letters A and N have a tracking of -300 (just to make it more clear). Then select the whole word and suddenly the tracking is 0. PLEASE: If there is a mixed formatting or there are mixed values (applies to other places as well e.g. insets) leave the field EMPTY or COLOURED, so that it is clear that there is something mixed. Added: Same problem in ADesigner 1.65

Zoom factor range to small
Joachim_L posted a topic in Feedback for Affinity Publisher V1 on Desktop
It makes me sad, that I am not able to zoom further than 311.502.301,7 %. Next click gets me a blank page. Just joking, but who really needs this zoom factor? Because it is technically possible? I could quote my former boss on this, but doing so would give me only Warning Points. -
Correcting cell insets fails
Joachim_L posted a topic in [ARCHIVE] Publisher beta on Windows threads
In some cases I am not able to correct cell insets without some extra work. See attached image. The cells have different left insets. If you select the complete left column left inset is generally displayed as 2 mm. The insets in the cells depend on the "highest" of the selected cells. So if you select only row 2, 3 and 4 left inset will be 1 mm. Back to my problem: I want to have the complete column a left inset of 2 mm, so I place my cursor in box, hit the Return key or overwrite the displayed value with 2 and then hit the Return key. Result: The insets are not changed. Only workarounds are to change each cell with the wrong inset or select all cells change the value to 1 and in a second step change the value to 2. As I know it of Indesign is if there are different values the box for the value is kept blank as an indicator. Type in the wanted value and everything will be changed to this value.
