  1. It would be nice if the Export function were to allow for exporting .afpub documents, so you can create a new document from specific pages within a file. I don't want to use the save as function, because it is easy to accidentally delete pages from the wrong file.
  2. Hi, Recently started using Publisher on Windows 10. Seems to work ok, not using anything advanced - just placing text & images, ToC & a simple Index. The file size seems to fluctuate - a lot. e.g. I have a file of 73Mb, copied it to a test file (x.afpub) then opened x.afpub & typed a space, saved it, size = 52.5Mb. So increasing the content reduced the file size! I removed the single space & saved again - now 62.7 Mb Next step was to do some very minor edits (corrected some spellings & phrasing) - x.afpub is now back to 52.5Mb. I do not save the history on closing. What is going on? What else is being kept in the file that I can turn off? TIA
  3. Hi. I've been working on a project in Affinity Publisher and cannot retrieve made progress in it due to a file corruption error. When I open the document I receive the following message: "The document appears to be corrupted. The document must now be closed." I work on a windows 10 system. The matter is urgent to me as it is on a deadline. Is it possible to recover the corrupted file? I don't have an idea what could have caused the issue... the project is picture heavy. Regards, Simon the_file.afpub
  4. Hello folks, I have the following situation: I have opened a file that I created with Affinity Publisher on the PC with Affinity Designer on the Ipad. In this document of Affinity Publisher the images and PDF files are linked. I have collected the images and PDF documents separately in folders. Now I loaded all the files on the Ipad and wanted to continue working on the .afpub document on the go with Affinity Designer. Opening it was no problem, but the attempt to relink the images and PDF documents fails. I have not found any such function.😬 Will the function to relink files on Affinity Designer (Ipad) be possible soon? As long as Affinity Publisher for Ipad is not yet available, such a possibility would be really helpful to work on the go with .afpub files on Ipad with Affinity Designer to have a halfway decent solution in between. Either way, this feature is actually a must-have. Otherwise, kudos to the team for the new Affinity Publisher workbook. I'm reading it right now and am thrilled with the painstakingly appealing work you've done with the book. 👏
