For anyone wondering Affinity Designer / Photo v1 works fine in linux. The only issue is the canvas flashes due to a refresh bug, but it's totally usable.

I got Affinity designer 1 installed but it still has the flickering canvas issue. Anyway to fix this?

So Affinity Designer v1 works fine on Wine? It's only V2 that still have some issues? I'm considering just installing a Windows VM just for Affinity Designer use.

Draw two separate curves with the pen tool (doesn't matter how) Set a hotkey for the expand stroke key (This might be related) On one curve add an other stroke via the appearance window Select both curves Hit the expand stroke hot key Affinity crashes

Deleting A Point Makes Outline Invisible

I like this solution, because to me it was not obvious why I couldn't see an outline. -
I uploaded a video. I'm on 1.8.6 Designer. Create a triangle of three points, then delete one of them, then the outline becomes invisible. affinitydesigner_pen_bug.mp4
