Hi All, I want to add Photo 2 to the list of editors in ACDSee, but I can't find it. Nor can I right-click the taskbar to 'open file location'. It's not in C/program files/affinity. Haha, it is well hidden this time Who knows where it is? Thanks!

Hi All, Would it be possible to add a filter that can fix rolling shutter? More and more people shoot mirrorless, so this is a growing issue. I do wildlife photography and forget to turn off silent shutter when moving from mamals to birds (in flight). Only to find slanted birds, trees, etc. I guess there are some ways to fix it now using perspective tools... But I bet a specifically designed filter would do a better job. Thanks!

I love XnView, and use dragging into Publisher too, but as Walt explains its not so handy as the place tool. Zoom out, drag handles, zoom back in... Its all little extra's adding up.

My main thing is, I have images in multiple (network) locations. When I now click the Place.. option, browse to a certain location and only then find out I am in the wrong context... Still I would prefer multiple menu entries for it though But hope I made it more clear this way.

If it is going to be context aware, how about reflecting the current state in the menu? For example by placing it as (image) or (text) behind the menu-name. That still does not prevent accidentally clicking the menu with the wrong context of course.

Uhm.... I have been into digital publishing and editting since the 90's. 2D & 3D animation for national television and video production for multinationals. I do all my PHP programming myself. I have a little experience, ok ... ? I just thought that the first method was much more natural, and stated as such.

I dont like it. Prefer a seperate menu option. I'm adding text frames and images all the time, now I have to remember to deselect a textframe first? Theres all the space of the world in the menu, so I dont understand why it was changed to this....

Uhm, I dont know what happened, but now the usual image types work again. It must be something content specific? Certain tool selected. Anyways, happy camper, I can continue as usual...

I am sure this has been discovered already, but with the new beta I can not select images anymore using "place.." from the menu. I used this to load jpg and the like, but will only select txt and rtf files. I now drag images from explorer into the page, but prefer the old way (also working).

Understandable! Keeping three programs up-to-date and going is quite a task already... Just love the two I use (photo/publisher), and for this price.... Used AE extensively in the past, but the current prices are madness. For me it was a 1+1 Serif could take this up. Who knows, in the future Thanks for the replies Psenda!

I can not seem to find this, if there is this feature I love to find out how to use it. Otherwise this would be great in a next release. Cross referencing to other pages is something I use a lot. But if I insert pages those pagenumbers are wrong. If I could use the pagenumber for example from the location a certain Heading1 is on, it would automatically be updated. So inserting a variable, then a selection box where all current heading1 are listed, then set to use the actual page number this heading1 is on... Thanks!

Hello All, Using Publisher now to publish a Fieldguide on animal tracks, love it! Would it be possible to somehow tie text wrapping & transparency points togheter? Now I have to do both seperately. With loads of image of tracks with text that wraps around it, it would save me a lot of time... Thanks!

Hmm, I see this has been asked in the past, and someone posted a video on how to do it, but still I can not figure out how to do this... I make a curve with the pen tool. After I did so, and if I just want to rotate a selection of node points, how do I do that? I copy a certain line with the ALT-drag way, and then need to modify parts of those lines. Thanks so much!

Awesome that PNG transparency is recognised as a modifier for text margins. Would it be possible that a mask could do the same: Now I have to add a mask and set text margin lines. Maybe with a "mask to text margin" option for example?

Hi, It was my fault, I thought it should also be a file that I can double click, but the palette file apparently isn't. Still have to find out how to install it, and what I can do with that file though.... I am new to affinity, so if I am missing something obvious please excuse me

Hello, I just bought the nature brush pack, but the file 'frankentoon-concept-master-nature.afpalette' is faulty, its incomplete. Downloaded several times, its not 12kb, but 5,6kb...

Thanks guys! The files in the 7zip file haakoo suggested works fine for me. Thanks! But would indeed be great if it worked right out of the box. I dont know the technicalities, but if the coders could fixed that for future projects.... This will save me returning to PSP a lot all the time, making it harder to switch since I best dive totally in the new program to get used to it...

Hello All, After two decades of Paintshop Pro it seems I am switching to a new program! I love Affinity so far, been at it for two days now. There is only one major issue for me. For my work I am using several fonts quite extensively. But one of them is not loading correctly. It is the bahnschrift ttf font of which only the 'regular' is loading. And that is loading 15 times as you can see from the screenshot. I am on a Dutch Windows 10, 64 bit, all patched up, and downloaded and installed Affinity just two days ago. This font is working fine in other programs...bahnschrift.ttf Thanks!
