  1. I've been waiting for the blob brush since 2018. Thought it might make its appearance in V2, but no 🙃 I've tried to use Designer, I really have, but without a tool like the blob brush my workflow just takes too long. I had to return to the dark side ... Illustrator. Maybe Affinity will get my money for V3?
  2. Quoted from the Affinity Designer feature roadmap: "The idea is the list will never get longer. As we complete and release features then we will replace those features with new ones." I'm very new to Affinity so I do not know how often versions get released or when features get replaced on the roadmap. The forum post was from 2014 but I cannot see if it was edited after that. I am guessing that arrowheads would surely make it on there soon, judging by how many people want it.
  3. Okay, okay, I bought it Any chance they could make it onto the pre-roadmap list?
  4. I have a surface pro 6 and pen to use for illustrations on the go. Affinity designer is great to use with the pen but it could be much better. I too would like to see improved usability for all of us with the same setup.
  5. Just downloaded the trial and having a play around with it. The tools I miss from adobe illustrator are the blob brush and live paint. I did a quick forum search and there doesn't seem to be many people suggesting the same tools for the desktop version. They are not on the roadmap so how likely are they going to make it into a future release? Affinity Designer is a great programme and I can achieve the same results without these tools but they would be a HUGE time saver and a deal sealer for me as an illustrator.
