  1. When working on any photo system locks up and I get the spinning wheel, the only way I can resume is to close Affinity and start again. I have tried several different photos and the same thing happens again. I have had this problem for a while and I thought recent update would cure the problem.I have also tried same photos in different software and this problem does not happen. Has there been an issue with initial download ? Please help kind regards.

  3. That seems to work but it seems to be set at about 10% opacity although my settings are 100%.
  4. I tried what you suggested shut down rebooted and tried a different photo which I have uploaded, tried to clone leaves. and it is still the same. Kind Regards.
  5. Do you mean uninstall Affinity and start from afresh? I do appreciate your help.
  6. Hi AVDB, I have tried that and it still will not work. Do you think something could be wrong in preferences {not that I have changed any}. I have copied exactly as stated in Affinity video for cloning. Thanks again.

  8. Hi HVDB, Thanks for your quick response, I am on a Mac and the layer was a pixel layer.
  9. I have several times tried to use clone brush tool and it does not work, then after a few attempts it will work. I would appreciate some advice thank you.
