Erase Brush Tool Help

Paige N posted a topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

My Affinity Designer program keeps snapping back to the erase brush tool even if I select a different tool. As soon as I click somewhere on my project, the tool automatically changes to the erase brush tool. I don't know how to stop this from happening or if I have something set up wrong.
