thanks guys for the replies, it was my fault because my background image didnt have any bokeh, i just noticed that in his photo the background had already some bokeh but it wasnt extreme

is the bokeh with duplicated image and masking then painting over it with black removed ? i cant seem to make it working tutorial in this video , i did exactly like in the video , but when i paint in black nothing happens, the mask is selected
