  1. So I figured out why I was getting the hard edges, it's because I was working with png images. Now I know how to get the effect I want, thanks guys, i'll just delete the white background afterwards
  2. I was watching videos on how to do halftone and the only way I can get it the way I want it to is via Photoshop. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQINX_6DcGg In this video at the 2:35 mark you can see the person get the halftone effect I want, but later on at 3:45 you can see her do the halftone effect again but this time with hard cuts instead of fading out, and that's what I also get in Affinity Photo. Is there someway to get the halftone effect to look the same as in the 2:35 mark?
  3. I appreciate it but I solved the issue already through Reddit. Thank you for reaching out though I really appreciate it.
  4. Sorry if I am using the wrong place to share this, I don't know how to use the forums and couldn't find a way to upload my video without it being on "Learn and Share". Video link here:
  5. I don't know how to explain my problem through text so instead I made a video to show what I am dealing with. Basically the subtracting tool isn't working half the time. WATCH THE VIDEO PLEASE! PathsSubtract.mp4
  6. I want to create a curve on the base of the text, something like a arch like the logo of Netflix or Thrasher. I linked some images of examples. When I move my text and place it on a curve, I get the curve I want on the base but it also curves the entirety of the text. Is there a way to exclusively curve the base of the text rather than the whole thing? It was a simple process in Photoshop, i'm not sure about illustrator, but I want to do it on designer because I want to vector the text and also because I want to support affinity. Can anyone help me out? I really don't want to trace it lol
