  1. First of all thank you again! With additional help from @NotMyFault I've finally managed to do the adjustment with the brush: - Open image - open new adjustment/live filter layer - Perform adjustment on the entire image - level - invert - Set paintbrush to "white". - paint over object to be adjusted Now only the selected object is modified
  2. @GarryP: Thanks for your contribution. In the headline I asked particularly for Aff. Photo which I only need to improve my photographs.
  3. Is there an adjustment brush in Affinity Photo that can be used to quickly and easily apply the last adjustment (e.g. high-pass sharpen, brighten or blur) to a small area without having to draw a mask beforehand? This is a wonderfully fast adjustment tool that I know from the old Nikon Capture NX and have so far missed a lot.
