I have the same configuration as Vinayaksom, but my program only started hanging on me this morning, it was fine yesterday. I also find the program doesn't load if I click on the program icon, but does if I double click a file.
Update to say that it may be a Catalina issue, the computer hung up when I tried to restart. After the restart I was able to save to the local disk without issue and export the file to pdf.
