Also, this feature must be in Affinity Publisher, or it cannot be used for publishing in CJK language. -
Vertical text (frame text / artistic text) is essential for design with CJK text. When can Affinity Designer support vertical text? I guess it should be simple to implement. Affinity Designer currently can sheer characters. If you rotate each character by 90 degrees, the text becomes vertical. Actually, in Adobe Illustrator, you can rotate the text by any degree.
