  1. I haven't heard any results on this topic, and I think I should tell you that it hasn't yet been resolved. I recently updated Publisher to 1.7.0.238, and I'll admit it isn't as frequent, but dragging the scroll bar to move through the document I provided you with still causes Publisher to crash. Nothing has changed on my end, the document is the same, my graphics driver is the same, etc. Good luck. I think you have a long way to go before this can be released.
  2. Hi @Jon P , I got a crash report for you and attached it here. I also sent everything relevent to your dropbox link, including the publisher document, the graphics folder, the pdf output, and the crash reports dated today (there were 2 of them), all in a zip file as requested in your email. I included an "info" file so you know what you're looking at. I hope this helps. For some reason it wasn't as easy to reproduce the crash this last time but, as explained in the info file, it eventually did. I included my graphics driver info, etc. Thanks bca48095-290f-4fe3-9562-7089bcb0069e.dmp
  3. I should also mention that my document, as small as it is, uses quite a few small jpegs, about 200. Some of the graphics are photoshop files too, since I noticed Affinity allows PSD files to be used. Perhaps the crashes are related to these graphics. By navigating with the scroll bar very quickly, it may be the application cannot load/reload the number of jpegs/psds, and simply quits. I'm using Windows 7, i7 CPU, 12 GB RAM, 64-bit OS and my graphics is a GeForce GTX 10050 Ti, running driver version 398.82 Hope this helps.
  4. My publisher document is 3.5 MB, 10 pages. It may or may not be the same issue. I've never had Publisher quit for no reason, except when I use the scroll bar. It seems like scrolling too quickly causes the problem, which is why I have to navigate very very slow.
  5. Hello; Yes Windows does an update every month. I should also say that my version of Affinity Publisher has been updated to 1.7.0.206, and as a result the issue no longer occurs. Since it wasn't a known issue, I'm not sure what changed or got fixed. However please let the powers know, the issue seems to have been resolved.
  6. Hello; I'm using Publisher Beta 1.7.0.206 on Windows 7 Service Pack 1 Home Premium 64-bit. I have multiple pages in a publisher document. If I'm editing the later pages near the end of the document, then use the right scroll bar to navigate up to the earlier pages in the document, Affinity will close without warning. The application simply disappears, and any changes I've made to the document don't get saved. This will occur if I grab the scroll bar and quickly slide it up, or multiple-click in the scroll bar space to navigate up to the top of the document. This issue is repeatable. The only way around this is to creep up the scroll bar very very slowly.
  7. Hello; This is a repeat issue for the past 2 betas. When quitting AFpub beta I always have to close my saved document first, otherwise the program will always crash whether I use File->Exit to quit or click the 'X' top-right corner. Windows 7 will display their error box "Affinity Publisher has stopped working". The only option that works is to force AFpub to stop. I was able to get the Windows trace. Problem signature: Problem Event Name: BEX64 Application Name: Publisher.exe Application Version: 1.7.0.192 Application Timestamp: 5bfed485 Fault Module Name: ucrtbase.DLL Fault Module Version: 10.0.15063.468 Fault Module Timestamp: 5ba8b66e Exception Offset: 0000000000072219 Exception Code: c0000417 Exception Data: 0000000000000000 OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: 9f8b Additional Information 2: 9f8b9e65c45917b76d1544dac954816c Additional Information 3: 1a58 Additional Information 4: 1a58ac9ad0411bd7ee3edab15590239c I don't know if this is OS related or a graphics driver issue, or whether it's a known problem with the beta program. So far, document contents aren't affected, but that may be because I close it first. The issue happens everytime I use AFpub beta. My GPU is GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, driver version 398.82 My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 My CPU is an Intel i7 920 (64-bit Operating System) Hope this helps.
