  1. https://github.com/YukihoAA/waifu2x_snowshell This program uses OpenCV or Vulkan or CUDA for GPU computing acceleration (up to 10 times) Blender and many programs are compatible with Nvidia and AMD using OpenCL and work well. MacOS Vulcan is realized above metal. I know this. I know a lot about these aspects. You don't need to prompt me. (I also know that OpenCV is a visual library, But acceleration) As you said, a "draw". But the current lack of GPU acceleration is clearly unfair. I agree with you: CUDA should be avoided. only. Vulcan is the best choice (compatible with possible future Linux versions) And the calculation acceleration performance is more powerful. (But I think Mark Ingram may lack the ability to control this complex low-level API) @fde101 ☺️
  2. This issue is easily resolved: Simply provide user-defined preferences for this modifier. For example: E, U+Y, C+7, L+F8, S+N+3+F10+Home (No restrictions are imposed.) If the developer is not sure how to solve the problem, the best way to solve the problem is to return the problem to the user. It is up to the user to decide.
  3. MacOS Affinity GPU accelerated development took less than 1 year. And it took you 2 years to transplant it, and it hasn't been done yet. This feature has a significant impact on performance up to 10 times. You should do your best to achieve it, not to make it go away. Thank efforts for Mark Ingram. Windows has the following 4 GPU acceleration Api: OpenCL OpenCV Vulcan CUDA.MacOS: only has Metal. (The rest was declared deprecated by Apple)Windows has more sufficient prerequisites for GPU acceleration. @Alex_M @MancDan @Frozen Death Knight @Zekez @sbp @R34V3r @ashf @fde101 @RyanJEC The current GPU acceleration appears to have been lost...
  4. If you have some basic knowledge about affinity photos. Affinity photos allow Alpha constituency, which is a selection set of persistent memories. The vector program lacks this function, only layer or group selection. This is not enough. In particular, when you have many dense layers, it is very difficult if you want to select multiple objects on different layers at the same time. I think you should understand this feature intent now.☺️ @walt.farrell
  5. The two are essentially different. The MacOS version requires you to: Just hold down your keyboard key and drag your brush on the canvas to complete the change of size and hardness. Yes, you don't even need to press the side button of your pen. It is so agile and much better than windows.
  6. I'm not familiar with CorelDraw. So... it was added earlier in Adobe illustrator 20?x(Non 2020)

  8. Because the modifier is missing, you certainly cannot make such a brush size and hardness change. The Affinity of the MacOS version can do this.
  9. https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-framework/thank-you/net48-offline-installer https://github.com/abbodi1406/vcredist/releases Try to install these 2 dependency programs. @Sweetheart
  10. This issue is easily resolved: Simply provide user-defined preferences for this modifier. For example: E, U+Y, C+7, L+F8, S+N+3+F10+Home (No restrictions are imposed.) Also remind you not to shy away from GPU acceleration. @Mark Ingram
  11. Yes! Thank you so much for supporting me! Let's make affinity better together!
  12. Excluding the Win key, we have more options. Your keyboard has more than 10 keys. This is by no means a reason to disappear this vital feature. All of the other similar programs have this critical feature. (PS Gimp Krita PhotoLine and more) The above 4 programs are available in MacOS and Windows multi-platform versions.
  13. Windows also has 4 modifiers. Alt+Ctrl+Shift+Win(start) I use autohotkey, in the Win key, to implement this feature. It works well. So that's not an appropriate reason. This issue is critical for digital painting. You should fix it. At a minimum, provide the user with a preference that allows the user to customize the modifier. instead of letting such vital features disappear. Thank you for your efforts, since version 1.7, affinity has rarely crash, stability is worth affirming. @Mark Ingram ☺️
  14. @thegary Sadly, the GTX750 will easily beat your GTX2080 Super in MacOS Metal GPU computing acceleration. Even your Threadripper can't beat the GTX750 in MacOS Metal GPU acceleration up to 10 times the performance leap.
  15. https://natrongithub.github.io/ Easily complete complex channel editing, and it's free. Can be used for commercial purposes.
  16. This breakthrough feature is significant. Thanks to the Affinity Designer development team.☺️
  17. This feature is unparalleled and extremely powerful. redefines vector coloring. Affinity should do everything in its power to support this feature. @TonyB Learn more: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/gradients.html#create_apply_freeform_gradient
  18. You can also add selection filters: Point/edge/face Point/edge edge/face Point/face Point edge face
  19. Windows has the following 4 GPU acceleration Api: OpenCL OpenCV Vulcan CUDA. MacOS: only has Metal. (The rest was declared deprecated by Apple) I hold different views. Windows has more sufficient prerequisites for GPU acceleration.
  20. Nodes allow you to not have to follow the timeline restrictions of the layer. The node gives the channel real potential and complete freedom. Nodes give you real flexibility without any restrictions. And compatible with the layer.
