Since reinstalling Publisher due to Windows reinstall, the Assets that were ther before are gone, I.E. the various symbols and signs Can you help please? Rregards Brian

Ron As promised, I have successfully followed your instructions and was fairly happy with the Eyers' change, however when it came to swapping a Mouth shot of a young lad not so good when the areas do not match. I still feel that Photoshop very much has the edge. I have also found when making adjustments AP was so much slower than Lightroom or Photoshop. All in all i much prefer Adobe except for making selections which I find AP better. I am doing a Widows reboot on my machine I shall then go legal with Adobe but will also buy AP for some adjustments. Many thanks for the trouble you have taken Regards Brian Morgan

Dear Ron I do appreciate the trouble you are taking for me. I am going to give it my best shot, I only have a couple of days left with trial and I have a busy week this week, Hospital and bowls matches, but I will try ti fit it in and will let you know how I get on, but it will be several days time. One thing I am not keen on with AP is the print module, I think that Lightroom CC knocks spots of this one & also Photoshop. It is a pity there is no Affinity video or even an article in the Help section. I do like some of the other parts of AP Regards Brian

I do appreciate your helping me, however I think I may have to stick to Photoshop as it much simpler to perform this operation. I am torn between Affinity, I already have Publisher, and keeping a not too legal Photoshop. Regards Brian

This is what I wanted, you will get fed up with me soon! I have opened the first image which creates a layer but I cannot seem to open the second image as a new layer. I have tried moving one on top of the other to no avail. HELP Brian

HHi I am not doing too well, I know it must be me but would appreciate more help. I have 2 images JPEG shot on tripod same exposure but the eyes closed of a person in one shot and n odd faced pulled by anther in different shot. I want to layer both on each other so that I can erase the bad face leaving the good face that is below. I do not see how to make the 2 layers and erase the bad bits. If you could explain how to do this I would be very pleased. I appreciate it must seem that I am a bit thick, sorry about that Regards Brian

I am new to this program. In Photoshop I can have the images in 2 layers and erase the front image to reveal the under image thus changing the face to a better image. Not sure how to do it in Affinity.

How can I fix a group shot I have taken 2 images on tripod and I need to stack them and then show one of the faces from 1 image to replace the same face from the other image. Can you advise please?

I am trying to print an 8" x 6" photo but cannot set the paper size correctly The custom setting is only in pixels How can I make this to be in inches. I cannot find a preset for the normal photo sizes, help please. I have cropped to 8" x 6" Regards Brian. P.S. I am on the trial version.

Hi I am trying to create a small poster to include the "Black Arrow Forward (Small) from the list I want to change the colour to red but do not seem able to do this, I right click to bring up options to no avail and when I try to alter the arrow it disappears from screen & then returns but does not seem to do anything. Will you be adding preset styles as are in "Serif PagePlus 8"? or are they a download please?

When selecting multi pages from a multi page publication say print page 3 to 8 when I set the number of pages to print in the sub menu it takes a long time for the program to register the change and you think it is not going to happen. I selected the pages I needed by entering "2,3,4,5,6,7,8" is that the correct way to do it?

I have a multi page document , how can I select which pages to print. I have tried putting page numbers into the print section but does not seem to work. I wish to print pages 3 to 6 inclusive and duplex print. I can print the whole document OK but cannot split it. Can you help pleas?e

I am finding that at times when I create a text frame the Letters start outside the frame, sometimes they do not, any ideas please?
