Sorry been so long getting back to you but husband in hospital. When I looked at Special Characters it just showed Return paragraph. However, I have just set to Justify Left and it is now OK. Thank you for all your help. With my husband now in hospital and a deadline looming I think I may have to go back to PagePlus9 as I just don't have the time to try and learn everything as it is so different, and as someone said, you don't even know how to ask the question in Help. Who would have thought that a line around a text box would now be called a Stroke. And Yes you are right - to the person who wrote about the Tutorials - far too fast - you just get lost as to where his cursor is. I end up shouting at him to slow down! Oh for a User Guide in print.

Quite agree with AllaryK, that is how I do the newsletter I create. I have used PagePlus versions 3 - 9 and found it so easy to use. This Publisher is rubbish! I am thinking of not using and going back to PagePlus9. I haven't got time to waste trying to do the simplest of tasks.

Newbie here who is struggling with Publisher. I have to do the text of our newsletter 'justified' - with Pageplus9 at the end of a line I would just do a return and the bottom line of the paragraph would be fine. At the moment the bottom line of my work in a paragraph is spreading three words all along the line. I have been into the Paragraph Tools to try and change but just can't find how. I am attaching the text for you to see the problem. It is the bottom line in para one. Been asked to contact Support - how?

Trouble is I am finding that they have used different words - like Stroke instead of Line. Just looked at the link - and yes it does look good - thank you.

Yes Publisher - you just don't expect it to be under VIEW! Will have a go. Have a text box awaiting a line border in colour.

I'm new to Affinity after working with PagePlus from 3 - 9 creating a local full colour magazine of 52 pages. I am struggling to find how to do things. As a volunteer I don't have time to sit through tutorials. I used to just sit with a cuppa and find the answer in the User Guide. I am finding that the language used is different. Using PagePlus was just so easy for me after all those years, but now I am really struggling. HELP!

Why can't I move around a booklet by pressing Page Up and Down keys? Can do that in Page Plus 9, which is very useful to go to previous page rather than clicking on the pages over on the left.

Have managed to put page numbers onto a Master Page but can't find where I can start at number 2. Front page of booklet doesn't have a number.

In PagePlus9 if I add a new page/s to a publication they are the same as the previous ones - this is not happening with Affinity. Or am I missing something?
