I discovered that if you Group the Picture Frame (even if it is only 1 Picture Frame), resizing the frame resizes the content accordingly.

My understanding and explanation of this issue was incorrect, sorry. Linked images/resources are meant to make smaller .afpubs than when embedded. Embedded documents are embedded (with a preview for render speed). Linked documents will store a preview of the linked file, but currently due to a bug they store too many previews and increase the filesize. Currently linked files also store the file (as well as too many previews), but this is a work in progress.
I will try to be better informed before I post next time.

I am really loving all the Affinity applications in including the Publisher Beta.
But what I really miss is a true full-screen mode in any Affinity program for a preview without any distraction that hides all tools, toolbars and guides with a single tap of a button(s).
It would be great to have a full-screen mode for all Affinity software, preferably with the same keyboard shortcut.
What do you think?
By the way, Is there any reason why a true full-screen mode is not added to Affinity?
