I want to design a photobook and these books are usually double sided. I don't see how I can create such a document.
For reference what I mean: https://wiki.scribus.net/canvas/Get_Started_With_Scribus:3

Maybe this is intentional, I think it's unexpected behaviour that by converting a layer to a picture frame the layer effects are gone.

Nearly all photobook software I've seen to far has the options to synchronize picture frame and the picture:
- Put the frame excactly as the image (size & rotation)
- Align the image to the frame (size & orientation)
The only options I can see are for aligning the image to the frame in
"scale to maximum fit", "scale to minimum fit" and "stretch to fit".
These are good options and most other software does not have that. But I think the basics are here needed also.
EDIT: This is Feedback for Affinity Publisher Beta. I seem to be in the wrong forum (even it is displayed to me as "Discussions and Suggestions for Affinity Publisher Beta on Desktop").

I want to create a photo book and want all my photos to have the same layer effects (outer shadow and outline).
How can I copy them to another picture?
In Photoshop I can do that with the context menu - "copy layer effects to clip board" / "apply layer effects from clip board".
How is that done with Publisher or is this feature just missing?

Ok, I found that there is a "Paste FX" option under "Edit".
This is a really good hidden function. I would strongly suggest to make it easier for Photoshop users that the layer context menu also has a "paste FX" entry.
