The program crashes when you try to open it. Haven't been able to use it. Is V2 working on Sonoma or no?

Hello, I'm using Affinity Designer as an alternative to Adobe Illustrator. I need to be able to map a black and white image, and then convert that image to curves. I can't seem to do this with Affinity Designer. This feature makes it easy to color black and white drawings done on paper. Is there any way to do this with Affinity Designer? I like the software, but I'm noticing many lacking features that I need.
