Ouch, Need Mail Merge despartly. I was hoping APub to be a replacement of PP9x. I work for a Mass Mail Data/Print Marketing Co. and use PP9x for mailings, labels, and other things that i cant stand working in MS WORD with.
However, APub/PP9x needs a few things that WORD's Mailings has:
Rules (Next Record, Next Record IF, Skip Record IF, Ask, IF..then...ELSE, Fill in,ect...) Save Selected Criterias to Document (WORD does, PP9x doesnt. Alwasy have to re-select my sort criteria and database to use everytime the document is loaded) So please, add mail merge/database sooner than later!

Mail Merge is important when publishing newsletters and similar documentrs. If this is not to be incorporated then AP will be of limited value.

I also agree with JoeSim - and for the same reasons. I'm really liking Affinity Publisher. Mailmerge would be the final "must" feature for me.

I couldn't agree more. Currently I use PP9 64bit for most of my work but for mail merge I need to use the 32bit version apparently due to a problem with Windows 10. I really cannot see me having three publishing packages on my p.c.

ABSOLUTELY!! Affinity Publisher MUST include a Mail Merge function from BOTH Excel and Apple Numbers files. I do hundreds of mailings throughout the year, and this is a must have function if I am going to be able to move my workflow to Affinity Publisher. You will have my money on day one if Publisher has a good Mail Merge function similar to what Apple's Pages used to have in the iWork 9 days. Word is terrible at it and it always looks like crap, the new Pages doesn't do it and I don't want to work in something like OpenOffice that has little support and an unsure future. PLEASE PLEASE include Mail Merge!
