  1. Hi there, I am working on a map project. I have drawn the map so far and I was wondering, whether you could open the stroke on the outside (see the screenshots), to illustrate streets and make it clear, which streets are ending and which are going further. In my screenshots, you can see, that I have an other shape on top to cover the black stroke underneath. This is not precise and would require a tremendous amount of work to cover all open streets on my map. I was wondering, since there is no slice tool yet, whether you could solve this problem differently, maybe with several layers, blend modes, combine and subtract modes. You can see in the last screenshot the selected shape which I use as an overlay.
  2. If you want to hide the UI temporarily, just hold Space and the tool UI will disappear :) Ultimately, corners will be a property on the shapes so they won't force the shapes to become curves - I think that'll be a nice addition :) -> very good news.. Thanks a lot. Looking forward to new updates.
  3. I created a document which is now ready for printing. I realized, that I made it to big. A few millimeters. So I created a slice in the export personna and some guide lines, to cut off 2 millimeters on each side. Now, slices do not snap to my guide lines, and I just cannot position it properly. If there is an other way to cut my document by 2 millimeters on each side, let me know. I just need to export it as pdf for printing.
  4. The new corner tool is awesome. I tried it and played a little with it. Now what I found is, when you select a lot of corners and modify them with the corner tool it is sometimes hard to recognize the changes it makes, because the corner tool requires so much UI (circles and lines, etc). It would be great to simply move with the mouse outside the canvas and the UI would disappear and reappear once the mouse is inside the canvas again. That way, you could easily see even small changes made by the corner tool quickly without deselecting every corner you carefully selected. Sometimes the changes are covered by the UI (or corner-tool-quide-lines, if you will, those red lines, circles and dots). Also, the corner tool quickly becomes slow on my iMac mid 2011, 2.7GHz i5, HD 6770 HD, 20GB Ram. And finally, to celebrate the new corner tool, here are some great and funny shapes, one can do when mixing the live shapes with the corner tool:
  5. plug-ins would indeed be great. There is a lot of potential.
  6. I just can't stand copycats. I am about to deinstall Arial just to see what happens in Affinity.
  7. This would be awesome. It's great for 3D drawing.
  8. Hi. Is there a way to edit imported sag files? I made some sine curves in "Grapher" and exportet to PDF. I tried to convert them to curves, which did nothing. Same with SVG files. I want to edit them, so that the sine curves do not overlap the whole graphic. I want to crop it. The vector crop tool is just a rectangle, which does not work for me. You can see in the Screenshot, the yellow curves overlap. I want them to be just inside the speech bubble. Anyone knows how to do this? A just can't use boolean operations like substract, ect. They are greyed out.
  9. Please let me easily transform any vector object. With a transform tool I could set the perspective right, and distort groups and other objects. For instance: I have a group of rectangles, and I want to transform and distort this group as if it was a line. I have a rectangle and I want to put it in perspective, or make a 3D effect. It would be great either have a transform tool similar to photoshop and the ability to select for instance the outer corners of a rectangle and option drag them towards the middle in the same amount. I definitely need a line tool. I want to edit every single bit of a line. I the ability to make a dashed or a dotted line. Of course I could use cmd-j, but I want it as a line so I can distort it. Also I want dashed lines for rectangles, etc. It would be great to turn a group of objects into a line, like when you have a couple of objects and you want to put them on a path and behave like they were a line.
