  1. Good. Not just me then. Bit of a worry, especially if the imported pdf is typographically heavy
  2. I've built a PDF from an .afpub file. The text in the PDF uses several OpenType features, these were applied to the text via the Typography panel in Publisher. The OpenType features include many number sets – Figure style, Caps to small caps, Numerator, Subscript, Fractions etc. All style correctly and the PDF built perfectly OK. Next I place the PDF pages into a new .afpub doc in order to set up an 8 page imposition – to print duplex on A4. All appears OK except for where the OpenType features are used. The Text in the placed PDF has stripped out the OT features. The only way to get the OT features back is to Edit the placed PDF and apply all the features again. Obviously when I update the master PDF, I have to Edit the placed PDF again. I can send files if required.
  3. I have an A6 page size and wish to print on A4 as a Booklet. Can Publisher handle the imposition for this 8 page layout? I can see that I can print A5 to A4 so pagination is correct. But I want to do 4 pages up (A6 on A4) which will require some pages to be rotated so when the A4 is folded twice, stapled and trimmed, it flows correctly. Can Publisher handle this?
  4. I have a PDF that makes uses a font with many OpenType features – principally Swash feature. When I place the PDF on a page in Publisher the swash glyphs are not present. Publisher has swapped them for random glyphs. I presume this is a bug. Usually if a PDF is opened/imported/unwrapped then the base text is preserved. This is part of a fonts glyph naming structure, so the base/core glyph is always known.
  5. Hi, Scaling by a specific amount seems a bit long-winded. For instance, if I have a word and I select its bounding box/frame and I want to scale it by 50% I have to go to Transform panel click on the chain icon to constrain both axis type in the scale amount (50%) in the mm width or height field hit return It would be good to have a scale option easily available instead of guessing I have to enter % – took me a while to work out how to do this Also option-click on the frame and have scale under the contextual menu would be useful. I know I can drag the frame corner and it constrains but not be a specific amount. Perhaps option-click on a frame node will allow to enter a specific amount Corners = constrain Vertical Edge = non-constrained in the horizontal direction Horizontal Edge = non-constrained in the vertical direction
