  1. IN the latest beta 1.7.0.270, positioning seems to show the correct X-co-ordinates but the Y co-ordinates appear to be measuring from the top of the document (in this case, 40 pages). The lower I get in the page structure, the greater the negative number. For xxample, a graphic on page 40 shows a Y co-ordinate of -9255mm!
  2. Elsewhere in the forum there is a suggestion about changing High DPI settings under 'Properties' in the .exe and that sorted the issue. Looking forward to the fix but in the meantime install now works fine. Thanks to all.
  3. Previous version were uninstalled (and reebooted). I have also re-installed .206 (never had .211) with no issues.Currently previous version is uninstalled.
  4. Tried that - just starts the install then immediately aborts. I have installed on a Mac with no problems!
  5. I have .206 and follow the links to download .227, which downloads ok (332mb) but installer quits immediately after WIndows 10 usual warning (i.e. not from store etc.). I have tried a number of times, including rebooting, uninstalling and re-installing .206 but nothing changes. I use Bitdefender and firewall settings are ok. .206 is running fine. The only thing that has happened since the .206 installation if that I have registered my evaluation copy of Designer. I have Photo and Designer on the machine. Any thoughts?
  6. I have Publisher on two machines with the document on a shared resource (local folders for a cloud service). Opening the document on one PC and making sure the linked resources are there and not missing, when I open on the other PC (after the local folder has synced) the resources are now missing. Since I am using the same basic folder structure and the linked files and document are in the same folder (but as sub-folders within this folder), do I assume that the links are looking for the full path - e.g. d:/folder/linked rather than the relative folder - e.g folder/linked? It would make life a lot simpler if the links were relative. I could have missed something in the setup but I don't think so.
  7. I checked my other PC where I managed to download and update .162 without issues yesterday but I noticed that the file name was 'affinity-publisher-public-beta.exe. and not the same as the one in the download link. Is this significant?
  8. Every time I try to download this I get a 'file invalid signature' (Windows version).
