Same same...please, can someone give us an ETA? It's 2020, it was first queried (above) in 2015. It's maybe ohhh 25 years since it was do-able in other software. I love Affinity products soooo much, but can't understand this function being missing.

I'd placed the boxes behind them to give a background size and colour. Having looked in the text areas, I can't work out how to do the same. Can you please help me work out how do I make a text box with a background of a colour/transparency, and indent the text to have a space within the bounding text box. -

Hi there... New user to Affinity, old user of Freehand and Illustrator. How do I turn off the shape indicator X in the box? All other guides are turned off, I can't find a way to turn these X indicators off. Thanks for any help you can give me... much appreciated.
