Hey Walt, thanks for the explanation. So following your thoughts the problem is, that once they found the string to replace, they just remember the position in the string and not the actual string. Well, then I will use single replace clicks for now and wait for the fix. Cheers mawie

Well, I am surprised. What you describe seems like some recursive behavior. But as I am not inserting any existing string, I don't see where it should run into the problem of never stopping. I didn't explicitly select the master page item for the find. Find searches all text fields on all pages. At the moment one doesn't have a choice to exclude the masters from the Replace All. I agree, that they should change it.

Version: 1.7.0.157 and the previous version. Found some issues with search and replace: Undo of a document-wide search and replace does nothing Replacing doesn't work properly: Created a text field with the string "fgh" on a master page Applied master to some page Replace all with search string "gh" and replace string "bla" leads to "fblaa" instead of "fbla". The amount of excess a's seems to correlate with the number of pages the master is applied to and thus the number of occurrences of the search string in the document. Cheers mawie

Thanks for checking. Unfortunately there is no "placing the cursor higher up in the panel" for me, because I use a 13" Mac and the standard studio configuration results in the clipping of the area above the Optical Alignment table (as seen in my screenshot). But I found a workaround for the problem and I will use it till it's fixed. Thanks again.

Hey guys, it happened to me now several times, that by scrolling the character tab to its end, I kind of freezed it there. I try to scroll up again but it just jumps a bit and goes back to the end of the tab like there is nothing to scroll. Any ideas? Cheers Matthias

Hey guys, I tried to base on master page on another but apparently nothing changes. Has anybody experienced the same issue? Didn't find helpful posts in the forum. What I did: 1. Create "Master A" and "Master B" 2. Insert example image on "Master A" 3. Right-click on "Master B" -> Apply Master -> Select "Master A" and "Current Spread" -> Ok -> nothing changed.
