The image originated in PShop, imported into InDesign. It was then scaled down in InDes to 4-1/4in wide. It started out in PShop at 300dpi. I copied it then out of InDes and into Aff. Photo via the New from Clipboard command, where it became a different size = 3-1/4in. wide. It was 300dpi when it originally left PShop and remained 300dpi when pasted into Aff.Photo... Is this a no-no? Thanks!

Hi ~ I'm a sort of an advanced newbie, here. Thank you for your great suite of Affinity software !! My question of the hour is: I have copied a tiff image out of InDesign and want to paste it into a new Aff. Photo document of ther same size as my clipboard's image. All works well using the Paste from Clipboard command EXCEPT the file's dimensions are not the same. That is, the image is 4-1/4in. wide in InDesign, but it comes in at 3-1/4in. wide in Aff.Photo. Proportionally it is about right... Please advise... Thanks!

Thank you, Dan C ! That seems to have done the trick! I unchecked Metal. (The OpenGL option was listed, but did not have a clickable box...) But it works! 😃

Hi ~ I'm on an older MacBook Pro (Mid-2012) running MacOS 10.14.6. A.F. was working very well for over a year after I installed it. Then recently it has gone crazy – that is, it opens fine, but as soon as I pull down a menu, the screen goes crazy with all kinds of colorful geometric shapes all over, the menus are magenta colored and appearing in the wrong place on my screen and chopped up, things begin flashing on and off, general chaos. I installed the new update today, but no luck. Then I trashed Aff.Ph. (just the app, no other A.P. files), and re-installed. Still no luck, things are still crazy. Please advise. (HELP!) Thank you!

Hi ~ I'm new to Designer, a long-time Illustrator and FreeHand user. I love Aff. Designer! But I am sorely missing that Blend tool. Sure do hope it gets added to Designer soon! Also a spiral tool would be great, ala Illustrator and FreeHand. –So, I just wanted to add my vote and encouragement to Aff.Des. developers... Thanks for this fine application!

Hi. I would like to install Affinity Designer on second computer. I just need to know: 1.) Is this legal with the Serif Co.? – and 2.) I have lost my serial no. How can I recover it, please? Thanks in advance. (Yes I know it sounds kind of fishy... it's not.)
