  1. Alright, so I've watched numerous videos in which a person holds Alt while using the pen tool to change from a curve/smooth node to a sharp node. I have tried it in every combination possible, and it won't work for me. I try to press Alt before I click the next node, after. I've tried waiting to release Alt and letting Alt go as soon as I click the node. Have I changed a setting somewhere? Is it a bug? I really need my pen tool to work. I can't find any videos or forums with people having the same trouble. Help me please!!
  2. I would like to create tutorial videos for how to create certain things in Affinity. Are there copyright laws that prevent me from doing this? I have Googled until my fingers hurt, and all I get is YouTube/music copyright laws in the search results. So, I've decided to ask straight from the source. Am I allowed to make tutorial videos for your Affinity software programs without permission? If not, how I obtain permission? What can I and can't I record or clip? Thanks for any help you can offer.
  3. Let me start by saying I've recently switched from Adobe Illustrator, and so far I am very impressed. There are really only two things from Illustrator that I miss almost every time I open the program. The Shape Builder tool is something I use very frequently. It is just much faster than using operations. When I am building large, complex objects, having to use operations instead of the Shape Builder tool is very prohibitive to my workflow. Another feature, and this is one I consider absolutely critical and I want it tomorrow XD, is the ability to have studio panels appear as an icon that I can click to have the panel pop out. Then when I'm done using it and move back to my workspace they revert to an icon. I am a junior freelancer without the budget of someone more experienced, so I don't have the same screen real estate. I'm still working on 1920x1080 resolution, and every single bit of screen real estate counts. Please, add this feature, and in a hurry. It's a feature so vital, I'm actually considering reverting to Illustrator, and I don't particularly care for Adobe. Save me before it's too late.
  4. I think where I was goofing up is which layers I had selected when trying to perform the operations. I don't have Illustator on my PC anymore, but I swear layers act a bit different in Affinity. I think I just need time for my mind to switch the way the two programs work differently. Thanks for the help. I think I have it all down now.
  5. So, I've experimented around and tried grouping and ungrouping multiple objects, even going so far as to nest different groups inside other groups, etc. I have tried to methodically figure out what the difference between Ungroup and Ungroup All, but I can't seem to make them do anything different no matter what I try. Can someone explain to me how the two of them work differently, and give me an example scenario of how each would be used?
