Please update the guides in Designer so they are visible when first pulled from the ruler and also show witching the ruler itself. Publisher does this and it makes placing your new guild much more accurate as you can see where it will be on the canvas from the actual ruler measurements.  Currently new guides are invisible from outside the canvas and in the ruler when initially pulled until they are released and then reselected and movedwhere they then will appear in the rulersand outside the canvas to allow for better reference.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
beside "Guides manager..." window, I would like to suggest some other options about simplifying how to delete guides:
deleting single horizontal guide by draging it to the vertical ruler deleting single vertical guide by draging it to the horizontal ruler deleting ALL horizontal guides by CTRL + click on the vertical ruler deleting ALL vertical guides by CTRL + click on the horizontal ruler deleting ALL guides by CTRL + click on the intersection of the horizontal and vertical rulers (where the measurement units are displayed).

As some suspected,  Aff Pub does indeed have vector and photo personas which seem to link to Aff Des and Aff Photo. However, I get the message ''A compatible version of Affinity Designer/Photo is required''. Perhaps this means Des and Photo need updating to the same 1.7 version as Pub.
