How about going to “settings, preferences, tools, move tool aspect constrain, always constrain”

Using Afinity Designer on the iPad Pro, I’ll select an object and try to move it, but often it will distort (scale up the width or height out of proportion) when all I want to do is move it to a new position. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Is this a bug? Or is there some trick to preventing it from scaling up (I just want to move it)? Thanks...
