Converting PNG to SVG

I was told that Affinity was the way to go to create SVG items, but I'm having a hard time finding help on this topic. I wish to convert PNG or JPG logos into SVG so that I can manipulate the objects in 3D space in a different program. Inkscape allowed this to be done - converting to SVG, but I don't see a quick solution on AD. Help?
