Mojave seems to have slowed AF Photo
in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

Had the same problem - very slow on almost all operations in AF Photo on all betas and builds of Mojave. Doing the Reset action above has also fixed it for me - thanks!
