  1. The problem is the computer (laptop) is on a home network and the folder where I save a file to has the security and permissions set to allow other users on other computers on the network Full Control. If i save a file on the laptop to that folder which has been given Full Access to other users from any other application the file is saved with the permissions that have been set for the folder, i.e. the other users have Full access. But if I save a file from Affinity Publisher the security permissions are limited to only the laptop, i.e. I am not able to even open the file from the other computer.
  2. I am on Windows and I am aware of how to set security permissions. The problem is the computer (laptop) is on a home network and the folder where I save a file to has the security and permissions set to allow other users on other computers on the network Full Control. 3. If I save a file from Affinity Publisher to a folder that has been shared, the file does not inherit the permissions that have been granted to the folder. I then have to manually grant permissions for the file so that the person on the network can open it. This does not occur if I save a file for example from Word to the same folder - the word document will inherit the permissions that have been granted for the folder.
  4. I know I am missing something. If I create the rectangle and go to the Designer persona the only way I see to add the bevel is to the layer - Can I just do it to border of the rectangle? If I add the bevel fx to the rectangle layer then convert it a text box, when I add text to it the text takes on the bevel effect as well.
  5. Thank you. The Rectangle along with the Text Frame was the approach I used but I just thought there may have been another option when I saw Texture Line Style.
  6. Can someone explain the use and operation of the Texture Line Style for the Stroke property. I am trying to figure out a way to create a beveled frame border of a text box and thought this may help.
  7. I agree. I would also like to see a calendar option as in PP. It would be nice to have option to store events such as birthdays, etc. that would be added to calendar each year.
