  1. Raw is raw, the nature of any raw file is proprietary to the camera manufacturer. Companies may develop their own engine, but the raw file is still just that, a proprietary raw file.
  2. Although this has been brought up before, with no results, please add to white balance selector the options to set based on 18% gray, the photography standard, and black. White isn't actually white in most cases so when a photographer tosses uses and old "white" device unless it is a calibrated low reflective true white, the results are off. 18% gray and high reflective black are options often used by photographers. Low reflective 18% gray, has long been the standard for setting custom white balance.
  3. AcDsee is an excellent DAM program that has the ability link to virtually what ever editing software you choose. In fact you can select a host of various editing softwares and select your favorite as the default editor.
  4. Please make this a full function suite of programs by developing a Digital Asset Management & Browser program that has minimal adjustment capabilities that is integrated into the other programs. I would be nice to have a DAM Browser as part of the Affinity familie instead of having to purchase/use a 3rd party program with no or limited integration into the Affinity Programs. Minimal basic adjustments and batch processing features would be nice a nice inclusion in a DAM Browser.
  5. Not a bug, but a question. Are you planning to add pre-designed templates to Affinity Publisher? Many novice users tend to start with a predesigned template for whatever project they are wanting to create. If you do decide to add templates a new file command, "New from template" or clicking on the new selection in the file menu should automatically bring up templates. It would also be good to make templates something that other designers could create.
  6. Agreed, this should be a pinned thread. Obviously this will be a much used and appreciated feature once Affinity Publisher is released.
