    I think that AF is a pixel editor like photoshop, sounds like you need a raw processor like Capture 1 Lightroom or ON1photoraw.

    It would be nice if it imported as a new layer, but I tend to do most of my editing in On1PhotoRAW so I save the Nik edit as a PSD.

    It isnt perfect, but it works well as a plugin or using On1photoRAW in conjunction with Affinity Photo. It can work like a Lightroom/Photoshop set up.

    I thought so as that is what I have done in the past. I have the 2021 version of On1 which came with plugins but they have changed the way sell things.

    I use On1PhotoRAW mainly but sometimes I need a pixel editor to cut things out or do stuff I cant with On1. Apart from saving as a PSD or Tiff and then re opening in On1 is there any way to send the file after I have finished in Affinity?

    I would like this too. AP is a great pixel editor and it would be great to be able to easily round trip from On1, as that is my raw editor

    If you have a Nvidia graphics card you can use their capture software that comes with the nvidia experience

    One danger is that which happened to Bibble, which was Windows. Mac and Linux Raw editor. Corel bought the company renamed it AfterShot Pro and after a few years it died of neglect. I thought that it was planned to combine AfterShot with Paintshop Pro but it didnt happen.

    On1 has a lot going for it as the whole raw edit process is non-distructive

    Making skins for games is quite popular and Photoshop and Gimp are the main recommendations. I would like to use and recommend AF.

    Could be agravated by parallax so maybe try to straighten in Liquify persona. Where you an F-14 Rio? TheHeatblur sim is really good

    You could always buy a gameing mouse and assign the extra buttons to undo/redo cut, copy and paste
