I can open .psd files but all .ai and .afdesign file icons are greyed out. Please help! These files have been created recently with the latest versions of Illustrator 2023 and Designer 2, respectively, on a MacBook Pro running Monterrey.

Hi there! I was so eager to try opening idml files after reading other people’s success with the new beta release. But in my case the app crashes every time I try to open or place an idml file after about 60 seconds of the “rainbow wheel of death“. I’m on a 2016 MacBook Pro running the latest version of Mojave. In the pages panel, dragging a master page into the pages area in order to create a new page from that master (like you would do in InDesign) immediately crashes the app. On restart my document is recovered, but all the panels appear at random spaces.
