  1. Hi Callum, yes, I tried the suggestion, but I found the working speed much slower. Regards Kai
  2. Hello, even after the update there are still display problems on a Mac Studio M1 (macOS Sonoma). Problems with the display of background areas occur again and again: After opening a file, these are often displayed partially dark gray or white and change when scrolling. I have attached a screen video. When will this very annoying bug finally be fixed? Regards Kai-Uwe affinity.mov
  3. Thank you, I hope that the problem will be solved soon.
  4. Hello, I have a problem opening documents: Sometimes a white area is displayed in a dark gray that cannot be recolored. Sometimes the area also shows white sections. I have attached a screenshot. Is the problem known? macOS Sonoma, M1, Publisher 2.3.1, hardware acceleration is on
  5. Hello, when I open a certain document from Publisher 1 Publisher 2 crashes. Strange thing is that after starting it several times (2-4 times) suddenly the document can be opened and edited. Is this a font problem? Crash report is attached. Kind Regards Kai-Uwe Schneider Affinity Publisher 2_2022-11-30-105824_iMac-27.crash.zip
  6. Hi, I also have this problem with an older document. I am attaching the report. Is it not possible that it is a font problem? Regards Kai-Uwe error.rtf
  7. It is true, that the second start of Publisher does not take as long (only half the time), but it also takes 5x as long as the start of designer and photo.
  8. The new 1.10 Publisher starts much slower than the new Designer and Photo versions. Designer and Photo are versions from the Apple-Store. Publisher I bought directly from serif. I use an iMac (2014) with Big Sur. Has anyone else this problem?
  9. I have found a solution for me: I looked in the security settings and saw that AF did not have full hard disk access. After activating, AF starts normally again (macOs Catalina).
  10. Hi, Accessible PDF creation is now required for all printed matter for public authorities. Is there any thought of supporting PDF/UA in the next version? This would certainly be an important purchase argument for many designers. And a killer feature that would certainly promote the switch from Indesign. Regards Kai-Uwe
  11. Thanks for your detailed analysis. @Serif-Team As i said, I have only been experiencing this bug since version 1.8.3.
  12. The Frutiger-Font is from 1999 🙂. It was the only font from my collection so far that did not work. I'm uploading the two files additionally - but the bug is new in version 1.8.3. I use this logo almost daily in different documents - so far without problems.logo-test.afpub logo-test.afpub renault-logovertical-positive-cmyk.eps
  13. It was an Adobe Frutiger-Font - but in this document not included. I use the standard X3-preset without curves. The X3-PDF is attached - the problem with the X4-preset is the embedded logo. logo-test.pdf
  14. Hello, I get the enclosed error message when exporting PDF/X4 The export is aborted. I had a similar problem in one of the beta versions last year. At that time an old Adobe postscript font was responsible. When I export the document as PDF/X3 the export works fine. I have a similar problem when exporting from AD when a PDF is placed in the document. What could be the reason for this? Regards Kai-Uwe
  15. Hi, does anyone know if the affinity-team is thinking about adding tagged-pdf-suport for accessibility to publisher in the future? That would be a great and necessary feature! Regards Kai-Uwe
  16. Possibly a font file is defective. Try another and then export the document.
  17. This is exactly what puzzled me, because this EPS file does not contain any raster elements.
  18. A question about the placement of (vector)EPS files: When I place an EPS in the document, a resolution in DPI of the file is displayed under "Manage Resources". This should not be necessary, because a vector EPS is scalable at will. Is this a bug or a feature?
  19. Many thanks for your detailed explanation. I'll test it out:-)
  20. i will try to explain the problem again: on the website of pantone, for example, pantone 116 coated is defined like this (CMYK): 0/14/100/0 (https://www.pantone.com/color-finder/116-C) The colour-panel of APub defines the same colour differnet - independent of colour profile: 0/20/93/0. Why?
  21. I use e.g. Pantone Solid Coated 116c in a CMYK-document with ISO Solid Coated profile. The Pantone definition (coated) is 0/14/100/0. The definition in the colour-panel (coated) in APub ist 0/20/93/0. Same profiles - different definitions? https://store.pantone.com/de/de/colorfinder/index/acfproduct/code/116+C
  22. Hi, the Pantone color definitions (CMYK) differ from the definitions in Affinity-Publisher. Is this a bug or is this intentional? Regards Kai-Uwe
  23. AP Beta 312 | MacOs Sierra | iMac 2016 Hi, I have a problem with the text wrap of placed EPS files. The working speed becomes extremely slow as soon as i want to flow text around an eps graphic. It can take up to 30 seconds until e.g. a text input is displayed. No problem is the text wrap with photos. Any Idea why?
