  1. I have used my Affinity applications mostly on my iMac for years. Because of not being able to see what I am doing on the higher resolution display, I need to use the lower resolution settings. The Affinity apps tools and etc are very small and I have to constantly go back a forth to high and lower resolution in order to get anything done. This is not a real big issue with my iMac however, on my MacBook Pro the apps are useless. I can not even use the default setting and see the tool bar or the top bar to close the document. I have to go to the largest resolution setting to see the whole UI. When doing this everything is so small that it is not worth the effort and so the Apps become useless. I was hoping that the update this morning was going to address this problem, but no luck. Please address this issue. Dave
  2. This is also a problem on Mac. You can go into system settings (display) and increase size of everything (scaled), which I have to do so I can see anything well and it works on everything else. However, when done the Affinity UI screen goes out of site at the bottom and you can't go down and shorten the screen. This is even the case if you set the display to the larger scale, shorten the Affinity UI screen and then go back and enlarge it. So, I have to go back and forth with system settings when using the Affinity Apps. That is rough on my old eyes.
  3. I would like for you to provide a new program geared more towards scaled drawings. The Ap would have all of the features as Affinity Designer, but with more capabilities. The drawing could be drawn to scale and have the ability of measuring drawn objects along with having a dimensions tool. It should be capable of drawing limited 3D objects similar to the old Adobe Illustrator Ap. Even Illustrator did not have scaled drawing or dimension capabilities. Some of these capabilities are available in CorelDraw, however they no longer allow purchase of the Ap and is subscription only. Once you quit paying your are left with nothing. Last year you could purchase the Ap, but no longer. They also do not update their Ap when the Mac OS is updated. Unlike you folks do. I know such a program would not be cheap, nor should it be. However, being able to purchase your program, your support and updates to your programs are second to none. I think this could be an additional revenue stream for your company. The program could be used for architecture, mapping, drafting and more. Thanks for your consideration. Dave
  4. I have purchased all of the Affinity programs for myself and my Lady. 1. I wish that Designer would allow objects to be blended. This may be part of the application, but I am not seeing it. 2. I wish an art board would be setup to a scale. 3. I wish along with the art board scale, we could have a tool to draw dimensions. I would be willing to pay more for these items. I now use other programs for these abilities that are hard to use and support is poor. I would like to chuck them and use Affinity Designer for everything.
  5. Because I use mapping and other scaled items, a measuring tool is really needed in my work in both Designer and Photo. Will we ever see this valuable tool?
  6. I would like to measure items in AD and AP as I did in Illustrator and Photoshop. Believe it or not I use these programs for mapping and technical drawings. I know one can use other programs like Graphic for scaled drawings, but they do not have the features that Designer and Photo have.
