this also happened to me in a file created in 58 and trying to open in 58 , and I did have an image on the master page.

Any thoughts on a workaround, i did quite a lot of messing around on that file and wouldn't mind it back. (I know i'm an idiot)

but larger file with images, etc crashes.  I cant think that it contains anything TOO strange in it. 

Is there a way to import the document or bring in pages at a time to try to find the problem?

Hi there i'm getting this whenever I try to open a particular file i've made..  

 

I've tried moving the file and renaming it...

Something that is common in some cad software that works really well is using the way a selection box is drawn to change how it selects objects.

 

So, for example, if you draw a box from top left to bottom right, then this would select everything fully enclosed by the box (as normal)

If you draw from top right to bottom left, then the box selects everything that the box touches. (and to help the box is dotted or differentiated )

 

It doesn't sound very obvious but it's really useful to be able to switch to different ways of selecting objects without a toggle or option or button.
