    Hi skip777,

Just to let you know this is something we're aware of and is with development. It seems to happen on the first boot of the app after starting your Mac. Subsequent boots of the application should be ok. I'll get your comments passed on.

Also you shouldn't need to use the Public Beta of Big Sur as Apple has released the OS for general availability.

Adobe CC is the standard. I get why they would want that so they know files will open up properly in Illustrator which again is the standard for vector work. Unfortunately you cannot know that as it is an export from Affinity Designer and not native to Designer. You could always try and if the designs are simple I cannot imagine there being any real issues. How do they verify on their end that the file was made with CC? Is there something in the eps file that shows where it was created?
Do you have access to Illustrator to try out your files and see how they open?

Probably not Creative Commons, as many items on their site are for sale, and items licensed under Creative Commons would generally be free.
More likely CC means Creative Cloud, and probably means that they expect their EPS files to have been generated by Adobe Illustrator, and to contain the AI-proprietary PDF stream so their Illustrator users have the best experience. And Affinity cannot produce EPS files like that.

Within the bounds of freepiks submission requirements: https://support.freepik.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003799325-Content-Submission-Requirements I can’t see there being much of a problem. A few things jump out of the submission requirements EPS in CC what is CC (Creative Commons) they make an assumption that it’s a known acronym. Second is the submitting art with a year in it being for the current year, how does that work for Happy New Year graphics?

hengkidh reacted to walt.farrell in Why affinity designer rasterize layers with transparency when exporting in .eps ?
It's not something to be solved. The standard EPS format simply does not support transparency.  It's a very old, largely obsolete format. If you want transparency, try PDF.

Adobe always does their own thing to break standard/open formats and make them only work with their programs. They do the same with svg and even tiff. It’s been a source of great frustration for me the past couple decades as a graphic designer and web designer working with them and trying to integrate standards compliant software/technology.

    Thanks Patrick,
but that still means I need to do that on every page?
I tried, but a soon as I add a page, place a full-page-image on it, the added layer is above the master page layer that contains the page numbers. Havent found a way to tell the master page layer, that it should always be on top of the others.
    Thanks,
    Rainer

It would be really useful if it were possible to add a Master page to the top of the stack on all pages, rather than having to drag it there on each page individually.

It can be done by using pen tool. Here's the way I know.
First, make a line using pen tool. Click on the Stroke size. Click on Properties. Set Size Variance to about 80% or more. Click Close. Now, play with Pressure.

Did you tell Affinity Designer that your text was in Indonesian?
View > Studio > Character and then select Indonesian in the Language settings at the bottom of the Character panel. (If you've already typed the text, select all of it and then change the language setting.)
