    I have the same issue. It takes 'a bit longer' to open in macOS Big Sur version 11.0.1. I'm using MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports) non touch bar. Yes, It seems to happen on the first boot of the app after starting the Mac. I didn't encounter it on the previous version of macOS.

    If you open the .eps file using text editor, there's a line showing what application used to create the .eps file. It works perfectly in my opinion since I only use flat colour in it.

    Thank you. I'll give it a try. I think the rule is set to avoid the 'Happy new year for the previous years' graphic. Thank you. That's what I was afraid of. I use only flat colour (no gradient and transparency) which should be fully editable in AI. But the 'CC statement' scares me a lot. 😂

    😂 I see. I hope that the transparency problem while exporting to .EPS will be solved soon. This is the only downside after the shape-builder.

    Agree. I designed a design on Affinity Designer, and copy-paste it to Affinity Publisher. I have to drag the Masterpage to the top manually. Is there any option to make Masterpage in the top position by deffault?

    Go and get both Photo and Design using Black Friday discount and you will be happy to know there are good programs for photo and design in low price.

    So far. I have no problem with Affinity Designer on macOS Mojave.

    Did your cursor turned into something like in the screenshot I attached? If so, then you have to deselect the rectangle first.

    Maybe, a screenshoot would help. Do you mean the text goes over (to the right of) the text-box itself when it should continue to bottom?

    I'm not a fan of combining photo since the memory seems 'unreal' for me . I did it for client only. And.. that method should work.

    If you're doing more in vector-based illustration, I'll suggest Affinity Designer. Few years ago, I learned graphic design by seeing Youtube (with the right keyword). But, a paid lesson is also good. It's worth the money if you just started everything.

    I have the latest Affinity Designer on Mac and also macOS Mojave. Those 'popups' are not 'black' yet. But, it is not a big deal.
