I was hoping that rulers would be introduced.  Maybe I cannot find them?  Has anyone found the rulers?
when I need rulers I work in Trace but it’s a real drag to have to work in 2 different apps.

A stop is represented by a dot - and this is just a form with an outline, additionally these are symbols. This means you have one original dot and many linked objects to it. Facilitates if you have change bechause you only have to make in on the original and all the linked ones are updated.
I use always grids to place my objects on the art boards. That's very easy in Affinity Designer and helps a lot to keep the design clear and structured.

I can confirm that this is a known bug in the iPad app currently which is logged with our developers to be fixed. I'll be sure to 'bump' this report now for you.

hahahaha. incredible. I think I'm quite good at using all Affinity Apps. don't use the iPad app as much as desktop, and today I spent quite some time looking to activate the ruler. "Command+R in the iPad". the last thing I could imagine is that there are no rulers. came to the forum looking for wisdom and all I found was these 3 years of asking for the most common basic tool. HOW CAN THE BEST DESIGN APP BE WITHOUT A RULER?

It's actually essential. Also a Glyph browser is missing and the ability to use a soft-return

When will be the affinity publisher available for iOS to use on the ipad?

I think we don't have to BEG for a crucial function like this (and others) as we are customers who paid for the software...dont get me wrong I really like Affinity software, but I don't want to BEG...it should simply be implemented by Affinity not to loose customers back to Adobe...

I just noticed this while working with isometric objects. There is a noticeable gap between the objects and the top edge of the bounding box. What is causing the gap like that? I should note that I have these isometric objects grouped together. Thanks for your help

Please add the "Selection From Layer" command to Designer as well.
Requires the keyboard is pain.

Some suggestions for the technically inclined:
1. Scale - this would be so useful for the users who want to make use of designer for technical drawings. I know your artboards can be large (45m by my testing), but when the performance suffers and the grid is limited, scale is a requirement. Look at Graphic app - a good start. And reflecting scale numbering in your smart object indicators would be a huge win. 
2. Decimal point accuracy - this is in sore need. When all I can get is 1 number to the right of the decimal point (in many instances), this app is unusable. For years, Illustrator was only accurate to 2 decimals. It sucked. 3 is an absolute minimum, and 4 or 5 would get Designer out of the dark ages. 
3. Rulers - a small ask, but judging from the forum, repeated many times. It provides context. Again, tying the scaling to this would be a huge win. 
So much of this app is incredible out of the gate - your approach to tackling huge challenges in writing this for a tablet is truly impressive. Keep up the great work at Serif - all of you are setting the bar for a new era in app development. I, for one am a huge fan.
