  1. I somehow managed to fix the issue. I created an automatic numbering of my Figures (list numbering) before the crashing. When I removed the related list paragraphs, I could work again with the document (but had to manually number my Figures again). It seems Publisher is not that stable with complex documents.
  2. Just worked on a book file with many illustrations. Publisher worked fine until I copied a text part from an older version of the Publisher file into the present file. For this I had two windows open where I copy/pasted the text into the new file. However, after pasting, Publisher crashed. Opening it again will automatically load the file (where I pasted the text from the other file) and Publisher soon after crashes again. I opened it now and closed quickly and Publisher seems to be stable. If I open the file where I pasted text it crashes again. Have restarted my computer, no change. Have reinstalled publisher, no change. It seems this file is corrupted but I have no idea, why, since the text copied and pasted was from a Publisher file. It is exceedingly irritating since I was working many hours on the file. Anybody with a similar experience, maybe even with a fix? Regards Urs
  3. Affinity Designer. For moving an object in x/y there are only absolute movements allowed in the transformation panel. It would be great to implement also relative movements (related to the object). At the moment it is really painful to move objects an exact value from its origin.
  4. The tabs in bullets and TOCs work not correctly. Either the distance is not correct or the justification.
  5. In the Resource Manager the "Make Linked..." button indicates that there will pop-up a window in later versions, were hopefully the preview of linked images can be customized in size and/or resolution. At the moment it seems that the full image can be linked to its source but is still embedded as a preview.
  6. I am working on a larger document with many images. A change of the image resource from "embedded" to "linked" does not change the file size of the Publisher document. Shouldn't it get smaller?
  7. Giving the different numbers of tiered heading styles the same name under "Bullets and Numbering" does the trick. The heading numbering is logic and consecutive. Thanks for your help!
  8. Thanks. I tried this but the numbering still did not follow the scheme from the first and second tier. However, after trying around a bit, I went again to the Edit text style -> Bullets and Numbering and deleted under "Name" the entry, which contained [No change], and suddenly it worked, got a tiered numbering system to the 3rd level (2, 2.1, 2.1.1,...). I tried to give each tier level a name but it didn't work either. Only when "Name" was empty...
  9. Was working with text containing headings and subheadings etc. I couldn't create a tiered numbering of the subheadings (1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc.). Not sure if this works yet, or if I missed it how to do it correctly.
